sandraskeer: Rendelsham, SA, Australia; Some time ago I was diagnosed with Rapid Transit or Dumping Syndrome.My specialist told me there wasn't a cure and I would probably have to spend the rest of my life on medication which had side effects.I was horrified and for a while my life fell into disaray.My condition was so serious that without constant medication i would pass food i ate within 15minutes.Initially i only weighed 45 kilos which is very slight, but as my condition worsened my weight plummeted to 39 kilos. I was also malnourished and dehydrated. I slipped into depression and a sense of powerlessness and lack of self worth. During this time my children were incredibly supportive and suggested i look at my life holistically. Eventually i took it upon myself to seek the help of a dietician. I had already started trying to look at the foods i was eating but needed more guide lines. Having seen the dietician and more tests i was also found to be gluten/lactose intolerant as well. This blog is journey i am undertaking to try and address my health issues.Wish me well
